Description

This starfighter’s appeal, to me, is how it pulls off the retro Rebel fighter look while being a clean modern design. I had no idea who that was to be honest, but with a name like Captain Jag I think it’s safe to assume he has the situation under control. OK, so about the rear gun getting in the way: you know that little gear for the S-Foils and missiles? The reason I was using the starbucks plastic cup was because it was the only clear and stable holder for the fighter to be displayed for the photoshoot.

As we highly anticipate the new ARC-170 coming out next year, here's a look at the original version from 2005, the year EPIII came out. Et cerise sur le gateau, le prix, plutot raisonable qui donne envie de se lancer dans la collection. It is worth to note that the windows and wedge have a mirror opposite so that both can be used for left and right side of the fighter. It's pretty darn cool, but I'd recommend, if you're giving it to someone younger than the box recommends, to have an adult handy.

The wings of the ARC are known as S-foil wings, similar to the wings found on the X-Wing-class ships.

Defend the Republic above Coruscant with the advanced LEGO® Star Wars ARC-170 Starfighter microfighter. Manning the rear gun is another generic Clone Pilot who clearly isn’t cool enough to be named, unlike Captain Jag. I know that sets across the board have gone up but I still judge sets against the golder rule (10 cents per brick) so despite the cool figures and cool ship I'm simply . I can deal with it since the look is hard to nail at System scale (on that note, I would love to see a UCS ARC-170… You listening LEGO?Some random instruction page showing the minifigures and the first phase of building whereby we start-off with the center section. By pulling the gear, you can release the blue transparent cylinders to drop from below the aircraft. The one right above it needs that room to avoid trapping the pilot if his backseat driver hops out first so it can’t be helped.

Although the wings are long they do not fall off easily, making it a terrific toy to fly around the room. Some LEGO® sets contain small parts that are NOT suitable for and may pose a hazard to children under 3 years of age. This elastic band also keeps the S-foils in open and close position tightly when the fighter is flying and making barrel rolls. The Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 starfighter, also known as the ARC-170 starfighter, was a heavy starfighter/bomber that saw widespread use by the Republic Navy in the later days of the Clone Wars. I’m not complaining though, I’ve liked that tentacle headed alien since his crazy toothy grin in Attack of the Clones.Very nice review, I never bought this because it didn't look that appealing, but your review makes me wish I did get it.
